Bintan mangrove planting

Small Change has introduced an exciting experience, exclusively open to organisations.

Mangroves are an essential part of carbon sequestration in South East Asia, as well as home to much of our wildlife. Small Change is partnering with Loola’s Adventure Resort, who have a mangrove planting program for guests looking to offset their carbon footprint.

Small Change is helping to facilitate two-day sapling planting trips for organisations interested in offsetting some of their carbon emissions during team outings. The trips can be tailored to organisational needs and include accommodation, catering, workshops on the local ecosystem and carbon sinks, planting and a broad selection of eco-focused recreational activities. Organisations will receive photography of the event and reports of their saplings’ progress after the end of the trip.

Although we champion first hand experience as the kernel to learning and guardianship of the world around us, organisations can also fund the planting of saplings and receive photo updates of the planting process, as well as data around their contribution to sequestration.
